Cost Effectiveness
UCSF researchers create effectiveness and cost-effectiveness models for PEPFAR by updating models with the current literature and modifying them using epidemic modeling. Researchers review existing cost data and collect focused primary cost data, and develop models that include, for example, antiretroviral (ARV) provision and cotrimoxazole prophylaxis.
