Trainings & Workshops

The Prevention and Public Health Group (PPHG) offers a number of specialized technical assistance workshops designed to help institutions collect, analyze, synthesize, and present health-related data. All workshops are led by UCSF faculty, and the content, length, and location may be tailored to participants’ needs. Workshops also can be combined or planned over time for the completion of a larger project. For more information about specific workshops, please refer to Short-Course Workshops.

The PPHG hosts longer-term training programs and short courses, ranging from a 10-week research traineeship to a 1-year master's program, for professionals and post-graduate students. These programs are located in San Francisco, California, and are designed to train a new generation of public health specialists to respond to the needs of developing countries. For more information, please refer to Short Courses at UCSF.
