Our online database of funded international projects continues to grow since its November 2007 launch. In the coming months we expect to expand the database to over 200 projects. If you have international funded activities that are not shown here, please e-mail communications@globalhealth.ucsf.edu. We welcome your feedback to improve and enhance this service. This project is a collaboration between GHS and the Clinical
and Translational Science Institute. (At this time, the database is limited to UCSF users.)
We have heard from many faculty and staff on unique issues and needs related to working on international projects. Navigating the grant administration process, financial requirements, staff recruitment, and many other processes can gain complexity in an international setting. GHS-CTSI hopes to develop strategies to improve administrative efficiencies for PIs with international activities. For the first step, we will host 4-8 town hall meetings in February and March to assess the current systems, discuss needs, and solicit suggestions for improvement. Town halls will be organized by region of activity. If you would like to participate, please contact Kelly Sanders.
