UCSF Global Health Clinical Scholars Program (GHCSP)

2008 Call for Applications

The Program

The UCSF Global Health Sciences Clinical Scholars Program (GHCSP) was established in 2006 to respond to a demand for an educational track by clinical trainees interested in bridging the global health gap. It is a training track for UCSF graduate healthcare professionals who wish to formally incorporate global health into their professional careers. The program is the first in the nation to include graduate students or residents from different disciplines, and has expanded to include the schools of nursing and other health professional schools in the past year.
