Students and health professionals are increasingly seeking academic training in the expanding arena of Global Health Sciences. GHS has formed a Graduate Group to develop Masters and PhD level programs in Global Health Sciences. A formal proposal to establish a one-year MS degree in Global Health Sciences is currently under review by the University of California Coordinating Council on Graduate Affairs (CCGA). The projected start date of the MS program is 2008, with the PhD program to follow in subsequent years. New information will be posted on this website as it becomes available. Current and potential UCSF students interested in studying global health sciences are encouraged to investigate the existing Areas of Concentration.
